§ 73. Mr. George Jegerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has now considered the report of his economic adviser on Gibraltar; and what action he proposes to take to assist the Colony to overcome the Spanish blockade.
§ Mr. GreenwoodThe report, which has now been presented, is addressed to the Government of Gibraltar whose views are awaited. As the hon. Member was informed by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary in reply to a Question on 11th February, as soon as these views are received, and Gibraltar's needs are established, the territory can rely on us to consider urgently what help we can give.
