§ Mr. PrenticeIn order that my Department may play its full part in giving effect to the Alexander Report my right hon. Friend will as soon as possible appoint an additional Senior Information Officer with specific responsibilities for Further Education. It is too early to report on the action which is being taken by the Regional Advisory Councils and local education authorities generally in response to the circular sent to them last December, but the report has aroused great interest and a second reprint has already been required.
