Galpernasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to amend the law to provide for cases where a doctor is called by the police to examine a motorist they believe had been in charge of a car while under the influence of drink and he refuses to do so or having agreed to do so refuses to make the examination on discovering the motorist is also a doctor or someone known to him.
§ Sir F. SoskiceI note the point my hon. Friend has in mind, but I do not consider this a matter for amendment of the law.
