§ Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when the case for the quarantine of dogs, on entry into the United Kingdom, was last reviewed.
§ Mr. PeartWe have these regulations constantly in mind, for we are conscious of the burden they place on dog owners; but I am convinced that, under existing conditions, a strict application of quarantine regulations provides the best safeguard for both our human and animal populations.
