The best estimate which I can give is about 1,500 representations (including representations to official receivers) as regards estate agents for 1960–4, and about 40 representations as regards travel agents for 1960–3. For 1964 the Board of Trade were made aware that rather more than 2,000 customers of travel agents lost their money.
