§ Mr. Pounderasked the Postmaster-General what has been the trend over the past 12 months concerning vandalism connected with telephone kiosks in 213W Belfast; and what steps he intends to take to stamp out this practice.
§ Mr. Joseph SlaterThere were 258 cases of wilful damage to telephone kiosks in Belfast in 1964, compared with 158 cases in 1963. Both figures exclude glass breakage. A variety of measures have already been taken to combat repeated acts of vandalism, and others are being devised; but I am sure the hon. Member will not expect me to reveal specific details of their nature.
