§ 60. Mr. Brewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will instruct the United Kingdom representative at the United Nations to seek to secure the location of the World Health Centre in Scotland.
§ Mr. George ThomsonThe proposal for a World Health Centre is being considered in he World Health Organisation, for our relations with which my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health is primarily responsible. Decisions on whether a centre should be set up and, if so, what form it should take will not be taken before the World Health Assembly meets in May of this year. Only if there is a decision in favour of an international centre of some kind will the question of its location arise.
