§ Mr. Joseph SlaterImprovements in the quality of reception of television services in particular localities are primarily the responsibility of the broadcasting authorities concerned. The B.B.C. are aware that improvements are needed in Wellingborough and are considering what can be done in this and other areas where reception of their programmes is unsatisfactory. The I.T.A. hope that their new station at Sandy Heath to serve the Bedford/Peterborough area, which opens next month, will give improved service in Wellingborough.
