§ 43. Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Transport what steps he has 67W taken during the last two months to improve transport facilities by road, rail and sea, respectively, between Aberdeen and the Midlands and south of Great Britain.
§ Mr. Tom FraserThe improvement of transport facilities by rail and sea is a matter for the operators. Communications by road between Aberdeen and the areas mentioned have benefited from continuing improvements to the national road network. In particular, the Darlington bypass on A.1 was opened on 14th May.
