§ 57. Mr. James Johnsonasked the Minister of Transport when he proposes to state the results of the discussions between his Department's consultants and those of the Humber Bridge Board, following the recent meeting of the 72W members of the Bridge Board and himself.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI agreed at the meeting to consider the Board's proposals for a road network incorporating a Humber bridge along with the views of the local authorities concerned and of the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Economic Planning Council. I am anxious to get this matter settled as quickly as possible and am pressing on with these consultations. I will announce my conclusions when they are completed.
