§ Mr. MarshThe Professional and Executive Register of our Department operates in 38 Employment Exchanges throughout the country and does an excellent job in finding employment opportunities, providing information and advice and filling vacancies in the managerial, executive, technical and scientific fields. Since the Register was started in April, 1957, it has placed 45,222 people. We are constantly on the watch for possible improvements in the service offered to registrants and employers, but what is most needed is for the excellent facilities offered by the service to be better known and utilised by employers.
