§ 54. Mrs. Joyce Butlerasked the Minister of Health if he will appoint a committee to examine the effects on public health of the addition of antibiotics to animal feeding stuffs.
§ Mr. LoughlinA Joint Committee appointed by the Agricultural Research Council and the Medical Research Council examined this and related matters in 1962 and found no evidence of harmful effects on human health. The Committee's Scientific Sub-Committee is to review subsequent developments.
