asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many tenant farmers there are in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, respectively.

The latest available figures relate to 1960 when questions about tenure were included in the World Agricultural Census. The estimated numbers of rented holdings and holdings part owned and part rented at that date were as follows:—
