asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many low flying aeroplanes passed over residential areas in southwest London during the first ten days of July, and how many of these passed over between midnight and 7 a.m.

LORD SHACKLETON

3,109 aircraft landed to the west, and 477 took off to the east from the main runways at Heathrow during the first ten days of July, 1965. Of these, 397 and 28 respectively did so between midnight and 7 a.m. These were the only operations which involved flying over South-West London.
