§ 31. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in his proposed legislation to deal with the Companies Act, he will make it obligatory for all company directors to disclose to their shareholders their salaries, fees, bonuses and commissions.
§ Mr. JayThe Companies Act requires a company to disclose to its shareholders the aggregate emoluments of its directors, including salaries, fees, bonuses and commissions. I am considering in connection with the Companies Bill, now in preparation, the question of amending these requirements.
