Whether they are proceeding with the development of the Olympus gas turbine engine for use by the Royal Navy.

LORD SHACKLETON

Yes. A contract has recently been placed with Bristol Siddeley for the evaluation and trial of a shore-based version of the Olympus, with a view to developing a marine version of this engine for our future escorts.
