§ 27. Mr. Garrowasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the growing concern among local authorities regarding the low standard of hygiene in many public milk vending machines; and if he will seek powers to remove this possible source of dauger and infection to public health.
§ Mr. RossI am aware that some concern has been expressed, but I am advised that the Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations, 1959, and the Milk and Dairies Acts provide adequate power to local authorities to enforce hygienic standards.
