§ Mr. Boxasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish the 28W total sums held in trust by the Queen's and Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer on behalf of deceased estates in each of the past ten years.
§ Mr. MacDermotThe Ultimus Haeres (Scotland) Accounts which are published each year and are presented to the House of Commons by Command give information about the total value of the estates of deceased persons which fall to the Crown. No separate figures are readily available showing the small number of estates in which legal claims were eventually established in priority to those of the Crown.

In the very small number of cases where a claim has been established by legal heirs in priority to that of the Crown, no payment in lieu of interest have been made in the last ten years but if the circumstances justified it, a claim for a payment of this kind would be considered.
