§ Sir Knox Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will state the names of the assessors who recommend to the Arts Council the size of the amount to be paid out of public funds to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
§ Miss Jennie LeeThe assessor for the Arts Council on the Board of the Royal Shakespeare Company is the Director of the Council's Drama Department. He attends meetings of the Board of the company as an observer without power to vote and reports back to the Arts Council as necessary. The Council as a whole, after due investigation, decide on the amount of grant to be offered.
