§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Minister of Transport what representations he has received from the Incorporated Association of Architects and Surveyors concerning the staggering of working hours; and what reply he has sent.
§ Mr. SwinglerThe Association has just sent my right hon. Friend a copy of the report of its Working Party on Traffic. It suggests that further staggering of business hours should be imposed by regulation. We prefer persuasion to direction and are considering how we can achieve more staggering in this way.
