§ 41. Sir H. Legge-Bourkeasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how often the Natural Environment Research Council has met; when it expects to produce a report; and whether he is satisfied with the machinery for co-ordinating the work for which this Council is responsible.
§ Mr. CroslandThe Council held their inaugural meeting on 30th June. As required by the Science and Technology Act, 1965, the Council will make a report to me annually as soon as possible after the end of each financial year. I am quite satisfied with the machinery which the Council itself together with its main committees provides for co-ordinating the work for which the Council is responsible.
