§ Miss BaconThese representations related to the establishment of a single negotiating body for the probation service in Great Britain. The Scottish local authority associations accepted this proposal about a fortnight ago, and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and my right hon. and learned Friend have invited all concerned in both countries to discuss the constitution of the employers' side of the new body.
