§ Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Minister of Labour if he will make a statement on the redundancy caused at Winfrith among men working on the steam generating heavy water reactor.
§ Mr. ThorntonI am advised that there has been no redundancy among men engaged on the heavy water reactor at Winfrith Heath. On 8th January the main contractor dismissed 100 workers who were unwilling to lift a ban on overtime. Within a week the majority of these workers were re-engaged.
