§ Mr. Buchananasked the Minister of Transport what duties have been given to the Transport Advisory Council for means of transport in Scotland; what recommendations they have made in regard to roads, rail and air in the last five years; and how many of these recommendations have been acted upon.
§ Mr. Tom FraserThe Transport Advisory Council has been given no duties specifically for transport services in Scotland. It is a new body whose function will be to assist me on transport policy matters generally.
