HC Deb 22 February 1965 vol 707 cc20-1W
Mr. Bryant Gooman Irvine

asked the Minister of Health what is the average pension received by a medical practitioner after 10, 15 and 20 years' service, respectively.

Mr. K. Robinson

Information in the form requested is not available.

An individual general medical practitioner's pension is in any event related to his own total superannuable remuneration throughout the period during which his name has been included in an Executive Council list. There are wide variations depending upon the amount of service undertaken and other factors and averages could have little meaning.
