§ Mr. Cordleasked the Attorney-General what action he has taken with regard to the publication, Penthouse, having regard to further distribution of the obscene brochure with its added offensive statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralProceedings have been instituted in respect of copies of the brochure which was the subject of an Answer which I gave to Questions by the hon. Member on 10th December last year. Police inquiries are being carried out on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions about the publication of the brochure in its amended form. I have no evidence that would justify me in taking any action with regard to the magazinePenthouse itself, which, so far as I am aware, has not yet been published.
