HC Deb 04 February 1965 vol 705 c334W
Mr. Russell Johnston

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals he has received for the building of a bridge over the narrows at Ballachulish.

Mr. Ross

I have received a recommendation from the Advisory Panel on the Highlands and Islands that a bridge should be provided. I will consider this recommendation further when I have the views of the Highland Transport Board which, as part of its general remit, is also looking into the possibility of improving the ferry.
