§ Mr. Wolrige-Gordonasked the Minister of Labour whether it is the policy of Her Majesty's Government to assist men, who have had to leave their homes in development areas to find work elsewhere, to return home in the event of work becoming available there.
§ Mr. MarshAnyone who takes work away from home can maintain his registration for employment in his home area so that he can be informed of any suitable jobs becoming available. Those who have been helped under the Resettlement Transfer Scheme on the basis of returning home as soon as suitable work becomes available may travel home at public expense to take up a job within two years after leaving home.
