HC Deb 21 December 1965 vol 722 c429W
Mr. Clifford Williams

asked the Minister of Health how many group practices for general practitioners, as envisaged under the National Health Service Act, 1946, are working in co-operation with local health authorities in Wales; and what steps have been taken to develop this service.

Mr. K. Robinson

Six health centres are at present being operated under Section 21 of the Act, and others are being built or planned. Local health authorities also co-operate with general practitioners in other ways, for example, by attaching health visitors to their practices and by renting clinic accommodation for use as branch surgeries.
