§ Mr. Joseph SlaterThe parcel sorting machine and the various types of mechanical handling equipment installed in the new post office at Aberdeen are working well, and are helping the speedy treatment of mail in the Aberdeen district. Within the next two years we plan to install in the new sorting office additional machines which will separate letters from packets, automatically arrange the letters all the same way and postmark them ready for sorting.
