§ Mr. J. H. Osbornasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what rate of interest will apply on Government stocks held back for the time being, and money due to residents in Rhodesia.
§ Mr. CallaghanWhen the present restrictions are lifted, residents in Rhodesia will receive the amount of interest due to them on any United Kingdom Government Stocks which they hold at the normal rate as specified in the prospectus of the stock in question.
