§ Mr. Tom FraserThe test was first introduced in 1935. It is under constant review, but its basic principles remain unchanged. The requirement to demon-state vehicle control and ability to drive without danger and with due consideration for other road users is as apt now as it was in 1935, and the increasing volume and complexity of traffic imposes its own rising standard.
