§ Mr. Tom FraserA reply was sent by my Department on 19th November. It explained that the questions raised by A. W. Swann and Co. about loss of a parcel on the railways and compensation were properly for the consideration of the Railways Board; and that the correspondence had accordingly been passed to the Board for reply. I am sending the right hon. Member a copy of the actual text of my Department's reply. I understand that the Railways Board is looking into the matter and will be replying to the firm in due course.
