§ Mr. MacArthurasked the Minister of Labour what estimate he has made of the long-term, short-term and frictional unemployment in Scotland which will result from the recent economic measures and from Her Majesty's Government's objective of positive redeployment of labour.
§ Mr. MarshA number of factors enter into our calculations as to the amount and location of manpower likely to be available for redeployment and no useful purpose would be served by giving estimates of the effect of one factor in isolation.
