§ Mr. ReynoldsAbout 3,000 Regular officers and soldiers are fully engaged in the training and administration of the Territorial Army and Army Emergency Reserve. The numbers required for similar duties in connection with the proposed Territorial Reserve and the extent of redundancy depend on the details of the reorganisation which have yet to be worked out in consultation with the Council of Territorial and Auxiliary Forces Associations.
