asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the total Exchequer assistance given to agriculture, horticulture and fisheries, respectively, during the past year.

Agriculture: Cost of support to agriculture as shown in the table in Hansard for 19th May, 1965, at cols. 224–5 (Class V, Votes 3, 4, 5 and 6) 264.8
Horticulture: Grants for horticultural improvements and wholesale horticultural markets (Class V, Votes 2 and 7) 1.0†
Fisheries: Grants and subsidies to the white fish and herring industries and to shell fisheries (Class V, Votes 9 and 10) 5.2†
