asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what steps he is taking to secure the

figures in each class of the remainder of the staffs of these Embassies, together with the approximate numbers of the resident representatives from these countries who fall outside the terms of the Vienna Convention.

Official Representatives (within the terms of the Vienna Convention) of the U.S.S.R. and other East European countries in London, other than those declared as exclusively engaged on commercial work (see OFFICIAL REPORT for 12th July, 1965, col. 15):

return to their holders, Kendel Oxley and David Brown, of Shrewsbury, of their passports which have been held by the Spanish police at Malaga since 6th July.

Mr. Padley

The passports have been returned. They were withheld by the Spanish authorities while police inquiries were made concerning certain allegations. The Consul was in touch with the British subjects and with the judge, who decided to drop the case.
