HC Deb 02 August 1965 vol 717 c249W
Sir C. Osborne

asked the President of the Board of Trade, in view of the facts that imports of beverages in the first five months of 1965 cost £20,662,000 against £15,601,000 in the same period of 1964, and that English beer and Scottish whisky are adequate to meet the reasonable needs of most people, if he will now ban the import of all foreign beverages; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Redhead
