§ Mrs. CastleThe main means of increasing the aid channelled to the developing countries through the United Nations Specialised Agencies is by contributing to the two main Voluntary Funds—the Special Fund and the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance. We have this year increased our contributions to these two Funds by 17½ per cent. Our 1965 contribution of $11.75 million is the next largest after that of the United States.
