SoskiceI have referred to the Court of Criminal Appeal under Section 19(a) of the Criminal Appeal Act, 1907, one of the cases investigated by Superintendent Machent—that of William Patrick Irvine and Raymond Wharton. Until that case has been determined by the court, it would not be appropriate for me to make any comment on the other cases investigated by Superintendent Machent.
