HC Deb 28 April 1965 vol 711 c53W
66. Mr. Hall-Davis

asked the Minister of Transport how many accidents involving personal injury occurred at Skew Bridge on the A.6 north of Cam-forth, in the period 1st April, 1963, to 10th April, 1965; how many deaths and how many cases of serious injury resulted therefrom; and what action he proposes to take in view of the increasing traffic at this point.

Mr. Tom Fraser

Ten, resulting in one death and four cases of serious injury. To improve conditions at this awkward bridge I shall shortly be introducing arrangements for diverting south-bound traffic during peak periods. Long-term relief will be provided by the next extension of M.6 northwards.
