§ 68. Wing Commander Sir E. Bullusasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what further steps he is taking to ensure that more local authorities salvage wastepaper from households; and how many local authorities do not participate in the existing scheme of salvage.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend has no further steps in mind at present, but he is keeping the matter under review. Out of 1,411 local authorities in England and Wales probably about 600 do not salvage wastepaper at all. This figure includes many of the smaller authorities.
