HC Deb 14 April 1965 vol 710 c198W
Mr. Dempsey

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will make arrangements to include a representative of the Scottish Schoolmasters Association on the Examination Board, as their members are closely concerned with the results of the Board's activity;

(2) if he will arrange for the Scottish Schoolmasters Association to be represented on the Consultative Committee on Education, in view of their known interest in the deliberations and decisions of the Consultative Committee.

Mr. Ross

I have already told the Association that the question of their members' participation in the work of these bodies is a matter which can most conveniently be considered further when I have occasion to review their composition, and that I will keep the Association's views in mind.
