HC Deb 14 April 1965 vol 710 c219W
Miss Quennell

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance why a letter sent to the manager of her Department's office in Kensington High Street on 12th February has never been answered, despite a telephone call by the insured person, number zp.979138/B, on 22nd March, and a further telephone call on 27th March.

Mr. Pentland

I am very sorry for the delay in this case. The information necessary to enable the Kensington High Street 1ocal office to deal with the inquiry unfortunately went astray in transit from our Central Office at Newcastle. An acknowledgement was however sent to the insured person on 17th February, and an interim letter on 23rd March. I am writing to the hon. Lady.
