HC Deb 12 April 1965 vol 710 c129W
Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what was the cost for 1964 of the British Information Services in New York.

Mr. George Thomson

I take it that the hon. and gallant Member refers to the cost of the British Information Services in the United States as a whole which are serviced from the New York office. The figure for the financial year 1964–65 is estimated to have been £480,000 including £110,000 for material supplied by the Central Office of Information and the Stationery Office.

Separate figures are not kept for New York or other individual regions within the United States.
