Mr. Park

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish the numbers and percentages of schoolchildren in the area of the Derbyshire County Education Authority being educated in over-large classes in different types of schools on the latest available date.

The table below gives the number and percentage of pupils in oversize classes, in Derbyshire, in January, 1964:
