HC Deb 02 April 1965 vol 709 c293W
Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department at what cost and by whose orders four Metropolitan policemen were diverted from their normal duties to that of invigilating at the disciplinary committee of the British Egg Marketing Board at Caxton Hall on 23rd March; and to what extent the cost of providing these policemen is borne on public funds.

Mr. George Thomas

I am informed that no police officers were present at the meeting of the committee. Police attendance in and near Caxton Street was arranged in conjunction with normal duties and no additional expenditure was incurred.
