§ Mr. MacDermotI am aware of the special problems which the temporary import charge creates for universities and other similar institutions and I am considering them.

Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in compliance with the principle set out in the White Paper that the 15 per cent. charge will not apply to basic raw materials for industry, he will take steps to remove this impost from nylon 6 polymer, tariff item 39.01, when brought into Northern Ireland.
