§ Mr. Merlyn Reesasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs what assistance Her Majesty's Government are offering to relieve the suffering caused by the recent disastrous floods in Yugoslavia.
§ Mr. George ThomsonHer Majesty's Government have made a donation of £5,000 to the Yugoslav Red Cross for this purpose.
Parliament will in due course be asked to vote that amount by means of a Supplementary Estimate. In the meantime an advance is being obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
