§ Mr. Warbeyasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what would be the additional charge to the national revenue of issuing a double benefit payment to retired pensioners and widows once in each six weeks in the weeks beginning 14th December, 1964, 25th January and 8th March, 1965.
§ Miss HerbisonOn the assumptions that this arrangement was feasible and that it could be limited to National Insurance retirement pensioners and widow beneficiaries, the additional cost to the National Insurance Fund would be some £65 million.
